BENEFITS OF MASSAGE

More people are coming in now for massages, especially during the holidays, due to the stress of not being able to gather with family and friends. The lack of human contact can take a toll in the mind. 

I have heard from many clients who are receiving a session say "This is the first time since the pandemic started that I have had any human contact”. 

Receiving a massage session helps to boost a sense of normalcy of human interaction within a safe therapeutic  environment. It helps with stress by lowering the cortisol level within the body, and bringing up endorphins throughout the body, which helps us feel good. 

Getting a massage during this holiday will also help people by alleviating their chronic pain. With less pain, they are able to focus on the blessings of being with their family and friends in a social distanced way or via zoom this year.
